Claire heads our estates team, bringing with her a Master of Laws (Applied Law) majoring in Wills and Estates and her extensive experience in both estate planning and deceased estates.
Given the sensitive nature of this work, when designing an estate plan, Claire takes the time to understand the various wealth structures and each family’s dynamics. Using this information and her particular knowledge in often overlooked other areas of law, she will work with each client to create a robust plan which aligns with their particular intentions.
With an in depth understanding of the various state tribunals and courts, Claire shows the same diligence and sensitivity towards her clients when they are trying to understand and fulfil their roles as attorneys, executors or any other legal personal representative roles.
Claire’s clients frequently attest to how genuine and authentic she is. She has a particular knack at getting down to the issues and providing her legal advice in a way which is understandable for every one of her clients, no matter their situation in life.
With an Advanced Diploma in Legal Practice and many years as a non-lawyer, Claire completed her Bachelor of Laws with Deakin University in 2013 (proudly graduating with an infant and toddler) and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with Leo Cussen Centre of Law in 2014. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2015 and went on to complete her Master of Laws with College of Law in 2019.
